Lisa began her yoga journey as a teenager, but it was not until her late 20's that she began to practice regularly. Over the years, she has trained with various teachers, modalities, and lineages.
Lisa has completed teacher trainings in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin, and she is continually evolving her teaching style and her own practice.
In her teaching, Lisa has realized that to meet her students where they are, she needs to emphasize curiosity and exploration rather than rigidity and tradition. Her teaching style is informed by anatomy, and she combines traditional methods of practice
in a more contemporary way with clear and concise cueing and humor to bring a sense of lightness to the practice.
